How to Update Your Preferred Name

How to Update Your Pronouns, Gender Identity and LGBTQ+ Identity:

1. Log-in to myUMBC
2. Click your avatar in the top right-hand corner.
3. Click View Profile
4. Under the About card, click View More.
5. Scroll down to the Personal Info section,
   until you see Preferred Name, Pronouns,
   Gender Identity and Identify as LGBTQ+. Select Edit.
6. You will be redirected to the “Personal Information” page. Here you can update the information that you would like to.
   
   
7. Once you have made your selection, it will automatically save and be reflected in your profile.
