Sexual Assault
Sexual Assault has two levels at UMBC, Sexual Assault I and Sexual Assault II. It is defined as any act of non-consensual sexual intercourse (vaginal, anal, or oral) OR any act of non-consensual sexual contact (however slight) without consent.

Baltimore Human Trafficking Tip Line
This cross-functional work group addresses the complex issue of human trafficking in coordination with the County’s Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC). The Work Group will take a victim-centered approach as they work to reduce trafficking and protect victims by providing them with the resources they need in partnership with a variety of organizations, including non-and regional counterparts across the state.

The Maryland Collaborative
The Maryland Collaborative seeks to reduce excessive college drinking and resulting social and economic costs by raising awareness of college student drinking as a statewide public health problem and by helping college communities implement effective policies and practices to reduce the problem.
TurnAround
TurnAround provides comprehensive services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking in Baltimore City and Baltimore County, Maryland. TurnAround is the only organization in the Baltimore area with the mission, expertise, and capacity to work with this range of victimizations and we are the designated rape crisis center for those jurisdictions. In addition, TurnAround is one of Maryland’s comprehensive domestic violence providers and runs a certified Abuser Intervention Program.

Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network (RAINN)
RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE, online.rainn.org y rainn.org/es) in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense. RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice.
