Erica Arrington joined ECR in August 2022. Erica’s previous experience in higher education as a Title IX Coordinator and Civil Rights and Title IX Investigator have provided her with significant experience investigating reports of sexual assault, harassment, stalking, interpersonal violence, discrimination, and other forms of prohibited conduct. She has a comprehensive understanding of Title VII, Title IX, the Clery Act, FERPA, and other laws that apply in the higher education context. She has developed and delivered training to students, faculty, and staff related to Title VII and Title IX matters. Erica received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Towson University in Criminal Justice and Psychology, and her Master of Science Degree from Stevenson University in Forensic Studies. Erica’s background has led her down the path she is on today, completing investigations and educating the campus community on sexual misconduct and discrimination. Erica strives to promote a campus-wide culture of equity and inclusion through supporting the University’s compliance efforts related to Title IX and other laws regarding nondiscrimination in the educational setting.
