Domestic Violence is a broad range of behaviors. Domestic violence can be committed by a current or former spouse or intimate partner; a person who has a child with you, a person who lives with you or who used to live with you as a spouse or partner, a person who is like a spouse to you, or any other person who is protected under Maryland law. Domestic Violence can be a one-time occurrence or a pattern of behavior.
