FAQs for Annual Mandatory Training for Employees Hired/Returning to Work after January 26, 2025

Yes. Under UMBC’s Interim Policy on Sex Discrimination, Sex-Based Harassment, and Sexual Misconduct (updated August 1, 2024), all employees must complete annual Title IX training.

No, if you attended an Understanding Your Rights and Responsibilities Under Title IX live training session during the 2024-2025 Academic Year, you do not need to complete this asynchronous training.
