Yes. Under UMBC’s Interim Policy on Sex Discrimination, Sex-Based Harassment, and Sexual Misconduct (updated August 1, 2024), all employees must complete annual Title IX training.
I already attended a live “Understanding Your Rights and Responsibilities Under Title IX” training session during the 2024-2025 Academic Year. Do I need to complete this asynchronous training?
No, if you attended an Understanding Your Rights and Responsibilities Under Title IX live training session during the 2024-2025 Academic Year, you do not need to complete this asynchronous training.

The “Title IX and Sexual Harassment Prevention for Employees” training will be automatically assigned to New Hires and appear on their training Dashboard. Current and returning employees can access the training by following the link provided on the ECR training homepage.
